Terms of use

RecuerdoChat turns the chat you export from WhatsApp into a memory: an encrypted file that you open in our viewer and keep forever. It is a one-time payment per memory you create; it is not a subscription.

Your memory is generated before you complete the payment. We keep it encrypted and locked for 7 days; if you don't pay within that window, it is deleted entirely and you will need to upload your file again to pick up where you left off.

The memory you create and download is yours, forever, and no one can take it away from you. The software that creates and shows it — the site and the viewer — is ours, and we grant you permission to use it for the purpose it exists for.

• You upload conversations that are yours, or that you have the right to keep.
• You don't use the service for anything illegal, nor to violate the privacy of others.
• You take care of your password; you are responsible for your account activity.

We have a clear, fair policy. See it at Refunds.

We put all our care into making the service work well, but it is offered "as is." We are not liable for indirect damages. Your memory, once downloaded, lives on your device and under your care.

RecuerdoChat is a service provided by CONSULTORÍA DIGITAL DANIEL GONZÁLEZ E.I.R.L., a company incorporated in Chile. If you have questions or a problem, write to us at contact — there is a real person on the other end.

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile.

RecuerdoChat is not affiliated with, associated with, or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a registered trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. This service only processes the export file that you generate and download from your own application.
